St. Margaret's Church

The Church is  open on Sundays for worship at 9.15 am. Otherwise please contact a member of the PCC, listed in the Who's Who section of the website, to arrange a visit.

Follow the guide sheets, special sheets for children and the very young can find the carved mice - there are 11. We look forward to meeting previous visitors and welcoming those who find us for the first time.

You will see amongst other things our 15th century wall painting:

The wall painting of St. Christopher carrying our Lord across a river dates from the 15th century, and is probablly inspired by the wall paintings in St. Albans Abbey, which owned the church then.

The "Mouseman "furniture was installed in the 20th century from the workshop of Robert Thompson of Kilburn, North Yorkshire.
