St. Margaret’s Church Open Sunday afternoons

In summer the church is open from 2.30 pm to 4.00 pm for visitors to look around. Follow the guide sheets, special sheets for children and the very young can find the carved mice – there are 11.

We look forward to meeting previous visitors and welcoming those who find us for the first time.

The wall painting of St. Christopher carrying our Lord across a river dates from the 15th century, and is probablly inspired by the wall paintings in St. Albans Abbey, which owned the church then.
